The Hall of Thanes: Gakmir Has Notes
The Hall of Thanes was every bit as dark as I'd been warned, which for my eyes is like being told the sun is bright: technically useful, practically irrelevant. Ghosts in the Hall of Thanes: dwarven ghosts, which are exactly like dwarves but see-through, and they still wouldn't tell me where anything was. With me were a Warrior, a Priest, a Paladin and a Hunter. I learned who was who by the colour of the spells hitting the back of my head.
Plunder, a stone golem, knocked me clean across the hall. In my defence, I couldn't see the wall I landed on either.
I died once, briefly and without dignity.
Gakmir threw firebolts at everything, including, twice, the tank. Zuumerick and I agreed on everything except whether shadow magic is a 'path' or a 'problem'.
I'm cleaning my spectacles now. I'll see the Hall of Thanes more clearly next time. I say that every time.
